Wicca Information

Three Key Principles of Wicca:

Polytheism

The divine force is personified in various pagan gods and goddesses.

Pantheism

The divine force is immanent in nature itself; all life is sacred and interconnected.

Animism

All things, even inanimate objects, are imbued with a life force.

The Wiccan Rede:

Most Neo-Pagans adhere to these rules.
It is their oath to living the "Wiccan Way".

"These eight words
the Rede fulfill
An ye harm none,
do what ye will."

The Three-Fold Law:

"May whatever you do
Come back to you
Three times bad
Or three times good."

The Wiccan religion celebrates fertility and the cycles of nature.

They observe eight seasonal sabbats:
the solstices, the equinoxes, and four holidays that celebrate the phases of the moon and the seasonal quarters.

Many Wiccans practice various types of magic in their rituals.

They claim that witchcraft is:

"Acknowledging a depth of power far greater than that apparent to the average person."

Some call these powers "supernatural", but the witches believe that the same creative power lies in all people.
