The staff:Usually used to mark out the ritual ground or used to strike the ground so that spirits will be attracted to it. It is a long branch that is made of elderwood, cane, or rosewood. The RitualMagic:The art of creating change from a supernatural force.Every ritual can be designed to fit your own structure and technique. Within the ritual, there are working tools. One of the most important tools is the wand. It directs energies to be rid of spirits, it also opens and closes the magical circles and summon the goddess. The wand is made of a pine branch that is wrapped up in leather with a personal name engraved in rune letters. Preparation of the Sacred AltarThe four quarters:The north quarter is the source of great power; it has never been touched by the sun and is involved with darkness, mystery and the great unknown.The east is the quarter of enlightenment. The south has solar energy, the sun, the magic wand, the colors blue and white as well as the element fire related with it.
