What is a Witch?
Witchcraft has been confused in the popular mind with pointy black hats, green faces, and broomsticks. This is a misrepresentation that witches are anxious to dispel.
Witches are females that follw the Wiccan Religion.
There are also males that practice the Wiccan Religion
Wicca includes all the Magical & Spiritual Practices of Witchcraft.
However, Wicca and Witchcraft are related but are not the same thing. Witchcraft is more into Dieties, while Wicca is more Nature and Folklore.
Those who study and believe in witchcraft believe it is:
"Acknowledging a depth of power far greater than that apparent to the average person."
Some call these powers "supernatural", but the witches believe that the same creative power lies in all people.
